It appears that all is not well in the Berks County GOP. Berks GOP Northern Regional Chairman, John Fielding, is reporting that Ray Bostard, secretary of the Berks GOP, thinks he should be removed as chair. His crime? He has reported how Nicholas Bybel mismanaged the Coroner’s Office while he was the Berks County Coroner.
Reading City Councilman, Reading Democratic City Committeeman, and Berks County Democratic Committeeman,Stratton P. Marmarou, was recently cited for harassment. It will interesting to see what “unbiased” Magistrate is chosen to hear this case.
It not to soon to start thinking about the 2009 elections if you considering being a candidate. The county row offices of Coroner, Prothonotary, and Treasurer will be on the ballot. Also, numerous municipal and school board offices will be on the ballot.

Update:Per request we are adding direct links to Sam Rohrer’s votes on some issues

Watching the online political wars, it has become apparent that some bloggers fail to understand the principles of M.A.D. or the expression “cutting off the nose to spite the face“.

Since the Berks County Democratic Party Judiciary Committee ruled that Chairman Tom Herman, had no authority to take the actions he did against elected Ruscombmanor Committeeman John Morgan, and the County Party agreed. This blog is going to move forward from that issue, but not go away. We are going to continue to report the actions of the Berks County Democratic Party Committee. We will praise them for actions of openness and scold them for exclusion.
